Some weddings are beautiful because of the venue. Others stand out because of the people who fill them with love. Kevin & Virginia’s wedding at Basil Place was the perfect blend of both.
Nestled on a picturesque private estate, Basil Place provided an unforgettable backdrop for their summer celebration. Guests were welcomed by rolling countryside, rescued alpacas, majestic white peacocks, and the venue’s stunning event space, creating a setting that felt both elegant and inviting.
What truly made the day special, however, were the personal touches woven throughout the celebration. Virginia’s father delivered a toast unlike any we’ve seen before, using carefully chosen songs to represent different milestones throughout her life. It was a heartfelt tribute that had everyone smiling, laughing, and reflecting on the journey that led to this day. One of the most unique details was the homemade Cabernet and Limoncello, that the entire room toasted with after his speech.
After dinner, the night shifted into party mode! Surrounded by college friends, family, and loved ones, the dance floor quickly filled and stayed that way as everyone celebrated the newlyweds late into the evening.
